A Work Of Grace

So many things on my mind.
Thoughts are wrestling and nestling inside.
I can't seem to get them out of my mind.
Too many to count, too many to hide.

It shows.
It's written all over my face.
The hurt I feel.
The need for grace.

Hope.
It's not far away.
It's just a matter of asking.
I'm masking the grey.

If you feel this way reach out.
Rise above, no doubts.
God will pick you up and take you out.

The pit.
It's no fun there.
It feels like isolation in the middle of nowhere.

It's a rut.
It's not to big, not to grand.
God is bigger then your problems and He will take your hand.

Follow him.
It's the only way out.
Christ's love overflows and shadows hurt out.

God is the potter.
And we are his clay.
Let him pick up the pieces, and heal decay.

Your weary heart has a healer.
Jesus Christ -the great redeemer.
He has overcome the world.

Trust in his plan.
Let him lead the way.
Take his hand, unmask the grey.

Letting you know this pain is real is the only way these wounds will heal.
Rest assured, I'm not saving face.
This indeed is a work of grace.

-Tina Reed

Allow God to heal you of your hurts today. God loves you more in a moment than anyone ever could in a lifetime. Believe that. Find healing and hope in him today. We like to hide it. We don't like to show, or admit to anyone...not even ourselves of our pain. Tucking all that hurt inside is only going to make it fester. It will eventually eat you up from the inside out. Don't let your soul go one more second deprived of Grace. God's grace.

"For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
The LORD gives grace and glory;
No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly."
(Psalm 84:11)
